Tinubu places temporary ban on export of raw shea nuts

President Bola Tinubu has directed an immediate suspension of the export of raw shea nuts.

This was contained in a statement signed by Mr. Stanley Nkwocha, Senior Special Assistant to the President on Media and Communications (Office of the Vice President) on Tuesday.

With this order, there will no longer be the export of of raw Shea butter outside Nigeria untill further notice.

The Vice-President Kashim Shettima is currently meeting with key stakeholders to work out how the presidential directive will be implemented.
