Singer Waje, Omoni Oboli, Eucharia-Anunobi Ekwu, Saga Adeolu, Majid Micheal and Desmond Elliot were among those who joined guests to celebrate the premiere of the sequel of fan-favourite, Love In Every Word. The film’s stars, Bamike ‘Achalugo’ Olawunmi-Adenibuya and Uzor ‘Odogwu’ Arukwe, were the evening’s radiant pair, making their entrances in elegant looks that matched the mood of the night.

Drinks flowed freely, conversations moved easily from film to fashion, and camera flashes lit up the room before guests took their seats in the IMAX screening halls. Inside the cinema, the atmosphere turned expectant; the lights dimmed, the film began, the audience responded with laughter, applause, and a few quiet moments of emotion that captured the essence of the story.

The premiere drew sponsorship from some of Nigeria’s biggest brands, including MTN Nigeria, UBA Group, Coca-Cola Nigeria, Closeup Nigeria, Knorr Nigeria, GIG Logistics, GAC Motor Nigeria, Mamador Nigeria, Peak Milk, and Lipton Nigeria. Each partner added its unique touch to the night’s experience, highlighting how lifestyle and entertainment brands are finding shared value in storytelling.

For MTN, the partnership aligns with its broader connection to culture and creativity. Speaking at the event, Kate Daniels, Senior Manager, Sponsorship and Alliances at MTN Nigeria, said the company’s focus is on enabling Nigerians to connect through shared experiences.

By the end of the evening, the verdict was clear: Love in Every Word 2 took over Lagos. With glowing performances, delighted guests, and an atmosphere that celebrated both love and Lagos nightlife, the night reminded everyone why wedding parties still hold a special place in the city’s social calendar.
