Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa of Ondo State has unveiled a new set of appointments, who include, Special Advisers, a Director-General, Senior Special Assistants (SSAs), Special Assistants, and members of the Ondo State Law Commission.
These set of new appointments was contained in a statement issued in Akure by the Chief Press Secretary to the governor, Prince Ebenezer Adeniyan.
Among the newly appointed Special Advisers are: Hon. Olugbenga Omole – Transport; Comrade Gani Mohammed – Special Duties & Strategy, Allen Sowore – Communication & Strategy, Dr. Summy Smart Francis – Entrepreneurship & Innovation and Dr. Tunji Rhema – Environment.
Others include, Mrs. Kikelomo Ikuomola – Public Affairs & Inter-Governmental Relations, Engr. Wale Aladenusi – Marine & Blue EconomyHon. Kolawole Babatunde – Legislative & Party Affairs and Hon. Igbekele Akinrinwa – Local Government Affairs.
Also Engr. Razaq Obe was appointed as the Director-General of the Public Private Investment Management Unit (PPIMU).
The list of Senior Special Assistants includes: Mr. Ladi Okuniga – Print Media; Mr. Tayo Oluyi – Technical Education; Debo Akinbam – Strategic Communication; Gbologe Alex – Community Engagement (South); Obayan Ayodeji – Community Engagement (North); Samson Job Bazuaye – Oil & Gas; Mrs. Funke Ehuwa – Religion (Christian); Tope Liberty – Special Interest; Abayomi Oyekan – Signage; Augustine Ikuejamoye – Revenue & Tax; Tunde Akinyelure – Mobilisation; and Shola Akindolie – Education.
Additional SSAs appointed include Ralph Akinsanmi, Makinde Adu, Babalayo Olutayo, Mayowa Adewolu, Akinsanmi Ibukun Raphael, Yeye Oge Funmilola Oluwadare, Alhaja Sikirat Idera, and Mrs. Olubunmi Adekunle. Mr. Sam Bolala was named Special Assistant on Environmental Health.
In the legal sector, Governor Aiyedatiwa appointed Mr. Femi Okunjemiruwa, Esq. as Chairman of the Ondo State Law Commission. Other members include: Rotimi Omosua, Esq. – Member (North); Raymond Olaleye Ogunmoyero, Esq. – Member (Central); Oladehingbe Sunday, Esq. – Member (Central); Tope Olajube, Esq. – Member (North).
Governor Aiyedatiwa charged all appointees to leverage their expertise and dedicate their best efforts toward implementing the administration’s “OUR EASE” agenda, aimed at driving sustainable development and good governance across the state.
