I can turn things around for Nigeria – Tinubu

The National Leader of All Progressive Party and its presidential aspirant, Asiwuja Bola Tinubu, on Saturday, disclosed that he has the capacity to change the fortune of Nigeria for better if elected as the president of the country.

He made this known at the palace of Alake of Egbaland, Oba Adedotun Gbadebo shortly after visiting the Awujale of Ijebuland, HRM Sikiru Adetona at Ijebu Ode.

Tinubu said he paid courtesy visits to the two paramount rulers in Ogun state to receive blessings from them on his presidential ambition for 2023 election in the country.

The two termed for governor of Lagos state said that he had the capacity to turn things around for Nigeria despite the challenges facing her if voted in as the president come 2023

The presidential hopeful who asserted that although Nigeria is passing through difficult times, expressed confidence that the nation would scale through its challenges.

“My message to all Nigerians is that there will always be difficult times and times for joy. We are navigating Nigeria through a very difficult and weeping period.

“We will survive it and we will be happy. We will hold on to the hope that Nigeria will be united, prosperous and sufficient in benefits for the people. We will make Nigeria happy.

“I have told the president I want to vie for president. I told him I want to step into his shoes and I don’t want to step on his toes.

“I have come to seek for prayers because I want to be president. I seek fatherly permission, to seek the candidature of our party, not just the party, but to rule Nigeria,” he noted.
