Nollywood actress and mother, Adesua Etomi-Wellington has reflected on the challenges she faced during pregnancy.

In a post on her Instagram story, the actress shared her experience while reacting to a report about Jess Cronshaw, a pregnant UK woman who committed suicide after being diagnosed with hyperemesis gravidarum (HG), a severe form of pregnancy sickness.
Expressing frustration over the lack of awareness about the condition, Adesua emphasized the need for greater understanding and support for affected women.
She also expressed gratitude to her husband, doctors, family, and friends for their unwavering support during her most difficult moments.
“When I talk about the seriousness of hyperemesis gravidarum, people don’t get it, and I hate it,” she wrote. “It is not ordinary morning sickness. It is a serious condition that literally affects the quality of your life.”
