Big Brother Naija Season 10 housemate, Kuture, has explained why he intentionally stayed away from becoming Head of House (HoH) until the fourth week of the show.
Speaking during Sunday’s live eviction show with host Ebuka Obi-Uchendu, the 27-year-old housemate said he had been reluctant to take on the role due to the weight of responsibility it carries.
“HOH comes with a lot of responsibilities. It is easier to control animals than human beings,” Kuture said bluntly.
He added that the lack of respect some housemates show toward the current HoH, Jason Jae, convinced him that he was not mentally prepared for the leadership challenge.
“Some housemates don’t even respect the HoH, and I am not mentally ready for that yet,” he told Ebuka.
