Beverly Osu’s assault allegations ruined my marriage, career – Rapper 2Shotz

Veteran Nigerian rapper William Orioha, popularly known as 2Shotz, has spoken candidly about how his career and personal life took a devastating turn after actress Beverly Osu accused him of assault.

Speaking during an interview on the Teju Babyface Show, the rapper explained that the allegation which happened years before his marriage spiraled far beyond what he ever imagined, leaving long-lasting consequences.

According to him, Beverly, who once featured in one of his music videos, had been a frequent visitor at his home.

He stated that their relationship became strained, and during a heated disagreement, he claimed his hand “accidentally brushed her face.”

Beverly, however, interpreted the incident as physical assault and the story quickly spread.

2Shotz revealed that the fallout from the allegation was catastrophic, as it cost him endorsement deals, family and intense public criticism

The rapper emphasized that the incident was misrepresented and that he has never been a violent person.

He described the experience as one of the darkest moments of his life, noting how it derailed his music career and personal relationships.

“I was accused of so many things that I’m not. Everybody tore me apart. I wasn’t getting shows. I wasn’t getting deals. I lost my house. I almost killed myself. I walked into water, and people had to pull me out,” he revealed.
