Davido, Chioma, keep mum as death tale trails first son, Ifeanyi

Nigerian music star David ‘Davido’ Adeleke and his fiance, Chioma Rowland, have kept mum as an unpalatable death tale trails Ifeanyi, their first child together.

Meanwhile, efforts to get a reaction from Davido’s close aides and associates have proven abortive as no one is willing to either confirm or deny the death tale trailing little Ifeanyi Adeleke.

Though details of the circumstances surrounding Ifeanyi’s alleged death remain sketchy, an unconfirmed report says the three-year-old drowned in the swimming pool at his father’s Banana Island home in Lagos State.

The tale of Ifeanyi’s death is said to have emanated from a now-deleted Instagram post by Nollywood actress, Eniola Badmus, on Monday, November 31, 2022. The death tale immediately went viral as a result of Badmus’ close relationship with Davido and his 30BG crew.

Already, emotions have been high over the death tale of Ifeanyi and as of the early hours of Tuesday, November 1, the sad news has become the most searched and trending topic on social media platforms.

Meanwhile, a handful of Nigerian celebrities have been posting cryptic messages that appear to confirm the death of little Adeleke. Some of the celebrities that have taken to their social media pages to share cryptic messages on the death of a loved one and a child include Ayo ‘AY’ Makun, Daddy Freeze, and Lasisi Elenu.

“The death of a child is unnatural, unfair, and tragic, this hit me so bad,” AY wrote on his official Instagram page.

Elenu wrote, “Father heal your children’s hearts from this pain, strengthen them in such a dark and hurtful time oh Lord.”

In the same vein, Daddy Freeze wrote, “When the person you love is someone involved it becomes a heavy emotional burden. I am not confirming anything but bear with me I will not be live tonight.”
