Easter: FAAN assures passengers, airport users of safety, security

The Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN), has assured the travelling public and other users of its entire airports of absolute safety and security as the nation celebrates the Easter season.

The aviation authority in a statement issued on Thursday by the Ag. General Manager, Corporate Affairs, Mrs Faithful Hope-Ivbaze, said all necessary security architectures have been mobilised and activated at all the airports.

The statement hinted that the agency’s network of airports are fully prepared and ready for the usual upsurge in passenger traffic, which it described as the norm around the season.

“The authority has put all necessary facilities, infrastructure, and manpower in place, to ensure seamless facilitation at the airports during the season and beyond.

“We also want to reassure all passengers and airport users of safety and security, as all necessary security architectures have been mobilised and activated at our airports”, it added.

FAAN advised passengers to endeavour to leave for the airport early enough, so as to ensure that check-in formalities are concluded in good time in order not to miss their flights.
