I wanted to quit acting at a point – Nollywood actress Moyo Lawal

Curvy Nollywood actress, Moyo Lawal, has revealed that she wanted to quit being an actress in the Nigeria movie industry at a point in her career.

The well endowed actress stated that she was weary of all the misconception about her personality that she considered leaving the Industry and doing something else with her life.

“At some point, I didn’t want to act anymore, because I realised that people couldn’t understand that I was just playing a character, like how do I start to explain that I just read a script when people expect me to understand what they are going through even though I have really never gone through it.”

“I can’t start to break it down for you to understand right now. Like asking me how I am coping with losing my husband, as how? Asking me how many places I have worked as a maid before I got my big break? Asking me all sorts and seeing all sorts of assumptions.”

“PS, I am not my character, all you people that think I am crazy, this and that. I give up, believe what you may.”
