I’m currently in a phase of self-prioritisation — Olamide

Ace rapper and music executive Olamide Adedeji, known as Olamide Baddo, has shared that he is now focusing more on himself.

Olamide explained that he has reached a point in his career where self-prioritisation has become necessary. He confirmed this during a recent interview with Flow 98.7 FM.

“Right now, I’m at the phase in my life where I’m really trying to give myself undivided attention.

“All my life, I’ve been trying to be there for people and also trying to do my stuff. But right now, I’m really just trying to focus on myself 100 percent.”

Olamide has been one of the major contributors to who rises in the music industry through his label, YBNL. He has helped bring several artists into the spotlight, including Lil Kesh, Young John, Pheelz, Fireboy DML, Lyta, Asake, Adekunle Gold, and others.

He has also played a role in how many artists became known by featuring on their early projects. Those artists include Zlatan Ibile, Naira Marley, Portable, Bella Shmurda, and many more.

Through these actions, Olamide has shown what influence he carries in the industry. But at this stage, he says the focus is on his own growth and well-being.
