Dr. Mrs. Claudiana Ibijoke Sanwo-Olu, who celebrated her 57th birthday recently, is a distinguished First Lady, and notably, the first medical practitioner to hold the position in Lagos State.
With 25 years of dedicated service, she has a remarkable career that includes rising through the ranks to become the Chief Medical Director and Chief Executive Officer of Harvey Road Comprehensive Health Centre in Yaba, before being transferred to the General Hospital in Shomolu.
Even before assuming the role of First Lady, Dr. Mrs. Ibijoke actively participated in various health initiatives, such as Free Health Missions and the Lagos State Healthy Bee Project, targeting grassroots and riverine communities. She has been instrumental in Senior Citizens Support, addressing the needs of senior citizens across the state.
Additionally, she has championed causes like the advocacy against Sexual and Gender-Based Violence (SGBV), the War Against Drug Abuse, and the Boy Child Initiative, demonstrating her multifaceted commitment to community well-being.
