American singer, Kanye West, has filed an objection to his estranged wife, Kim Kardashian, filing a request asking the court to divorce them and declare her single, pending the resolution of other matters in their marriage.

This was made known by TMZ. It was stated that Kanye’s lawyer filed for objection on the grounds that Kim might remarry and remove some of their assets to her private account.

According to a report, Kanye would agree to Kim becoming single only if safeguards are in place so that joint assets can remain marital property.

It would be recalled that the couple signed a prenup that kept their assets separate.

This development comes in a week filled with Kanye West bashing his estranged wife’s boyfriend, Pete Davidson on social media.
