Kobe Bryant, daughter die in helicopter crash

Kobe Bryant and his 13-year-old daughter have been reported dead after they were involved in a helicopter crash.

The 41-year-old ex-basketballer and his 13-year-old budding basketballer-daughter died along with seven others in the crash that occurred in Calabasas, California.

According to a report by TMZ Sports, Bryant and eight others died when his private helicopter went down in Calabasas, California, on Sunday morning, January 26, 2020.

While the cause of the crash is reported to be under investigation, the ex-basketballer has famously used a helicopter to travel for years.

Kobe Bryant has a daughter who is also a rising basketball star.

TMZ reports that when Kobe played for the Lakers, he was known for commuting from Newport Beach, CA to the STAPLES Center in DTLA in his Sikorsky S-76 chopper.

Born Kobe Bean Bryant, the late 1.98 m tall sportsman was an American ex-professional basketball player. He played his entire 20-year career with the Los Angeles Lakers of the National Basketball Association. He entered the NBA directly from high school and won five NBA championships.

He married Vanessa Laine Bryant 19 years ago and they both have four children namely Natalia Diamante Bryant, Gianna Maria-Onore Bryant, Bianka Bella Bryant, and Capri Kobe Bryant.
