Magu’s response to AGF Malami’s allegations opens can of worms

After Ibrahim Magu’s suspension, the acting chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, has denied allegations of getting involved in fraudulent activities.

Magu denied enriching himself by diverting and mismanaging the proceeds of recovered assets from corrupt public officers and politicians.

In his defense, Magu accused the Attorney General of the Federation Malami of interfering with investigations, recovery, and management of recovered assets, Catchnews.com.ng reports.
