‘Marrying a good wife’ needed to be successful, Mr Eazi tells young men

Afrobeats star, Mr Eazi has shared that marrying a supportive wife is one of the keys to long-term success in life and career.

He made the remark during a spontaneous interview with a Gambian content creator who ran into him and his wife, Temi Otedola, on the streets of London.

When asked, “What do you think the principles of success are?” Mr Eazi responded: “Marrying a good wife.”

He encouraged young men to embrace discipline, patience, and the fear of God as essential ingredients for achieving success.

Speaking about the obstacles that shaped his journey in the music industry, Mr Eazi said, “The difficulty of unbelief when you’re being second-guessed, you could turn it into something that drives you as well.”

He also reflected on the inner resilience that many Nigerians possess, describing it as something unique.

“If you’re born in Nigeria, most often than not, you have that drive to go get it and you’ve that self-belief. I don’t know how to explain it. You just see it in a Nigerian, even in the way we walk. The audacity. Maybe, it’s in the eba and soup [laughs],” he said.

Recall that Mr Eazi officially confirmed his marriage to Temi Otedola in November 2023, in a birthday message to his father-in-law, billionaire businessman Femi Otedola.
