Ndidi, Iheanacho make history with Leicester to win FA Cup

Nigerian internationals Wilfred Ndidi and Kelechi Iheanacho made history with Leicester on Saturday, May 15, 2021, to win the first FA Cup for the Foxes.

It was Youri Tielemans’ 60th goal that decided the keenly contested match at Wembley Stadium in London.

The blues believed it had chances when former Leicester player, Ben Chilwell poked home in the 88th minute but the Video Assistant Referee (VAR) spotted an offside in the buildup to the goal.

Leicester keeper, Kesper Scheimeicheal made two important saves first from Chilwell and later from Matson Mount to keep his side in the game.

In the end, the match was decided by a wonder goal by Belgian International Tielemans in the 60th minute.
