Nigerian Army debunks fake recruitment publication

The Nigerian Army has dismissed as false a publication currently circulating on social media claiming that the application process for the 90th Regular Recruitment Intake to the Service has commenced, describing it as “fake and misleading” and urged the members of the public to disregard it in its entirety

This was contained in a statement made available to defence correspondents in Abuja by the Acting Assistant Director, Army Public Relations at the Directorate of Recruitment, Captain Abubakar Umar Hammanga.

The statement further assured the members of the public that it would duly notify the public once the recruitment portal for the 90th Regular Intake is formally opened and reaffirmed its commitment to transparency and professionalism in its recruitment process

It cautioned citizens against falling victim to fraudsters exploiting the situation.

“The Nigerian Army will duly inform the public through its official channels once the portal for 90 Regular Recruitment Intake is formally opened. We remain committed to transparency and professionalism in all recruitment processes and strongly caution the public against falling prey to beware.”
