Nigerian content creator, Odira Nwobu, dies in South Africa

Odira Nwobu, a Nigerian content creator and actor, has passed away in South Africa.

His death was announced in a Facebook post on Monday by Stan Ekwe, who wrote, “I don’t want to believe that ODIRA NWOBU is gone, I just spoke with his manager and he confirmed it, he also confirmed that the earlier accident wasn’t a prank. I am speechless and I still don’t want to believe it. Heart attack at this age? 💔”

Although Ekwe did not state the circumstances surcontent creator,rounding Nwobu’s alleged death, it was learned that the actor reportedly died some hours after clubbing in South Africa over the weekend.

Also confirming the news, the president of the Actors Guild of Nigeria (AGN), Emeka Rollas, said Odira and eight other influencers travelled to South Africa for work when he suddenly passed away on Monday, November 24.

Rollas added that an autopsy is being awaited to determine the cause of de@th.

A few months ago, it was reported that Nwobu was involved in a ghastly car accident. A viral video capturing the accident showed bystanders pulling victims from the wreckage.

Meanwhile, there has been no official statement from Nwobu’s family regarding his death at the time of filing this report.
