Actress and filmmaker, Stella Damasus is mourning, following the loss of her mother to the cold hands of death.

The mother of two took to her official Instagram page to share the sad news, though she didn’t disclose the cause of her mum’s death and when it happened.

With a picture of her not-so-aged late mother, she wrote, “This is not goodbye. It’s till we meet again. Love you forever mummy.”

Shortly after the announcement, her colleagues in the entertainment industry swarmed to her page to console the grieving actress.

Her colleague, Andrea Chika Chukwu wrote, “Ooh dear God. I am so sorry sweetie sending you hugs and praying with you. May her soul rest in peace, Amen.”

Renowned actress Shaffy Bello also wrote, “My condolences darling.”

While actress Halima Abubakar wrote, “Am so sorry sis.”

Sadly, this is happening in the first month of the year.
