Nollywood unveils first database website

The duo of movie practitioners, Ibrahim Suleiman and Chidinma Igbokweuche have announced the launch of Nollydata, which they described as the first ever database website.

The duo of movie practitioners, Ibrahim Suleiman and Chidinma Igbokweuche have announced the launch of a Nollydata, which they described as the first ever database website.

They made it known on their individual Instagram handle a few days ago. According to Ibrahim, the initiative will make the process of film making a lot easier.

“A database platform for talents and crew to be able to showcase their work to the world and the entire industry. Today, we are proud to announce the launch of Nollydata, Nollywood first ever database website”, Ibrahim stated.

According to Igbokweuche, the initiative took ten months and it was a lot of hard work before they were able to come up with it.

Nollydata is a one stop website for all things Nollywood, a community for filmmakers to display their projects, talents and creativity to the world.

The mission is to create a space that makes it easier to find information on all things Nollywood.

From old Nigerian movies and features. One of the aims of the website is to help filmmakers find talents and crew for their productions with ease.

The website also has on display profiles of established and fast rising actors.
