Osimhen, Iheanacho spotted at training ahead of World Cup qualifier

Ahead of Friday, September 3, 2021’s world cup qualifier match, Victor Osimhen, and Kelechi Iheanacho have been spotted at training.

The two super players caught the eye during Super Eagles’ first official training on Tuesday, August 31, 2021 ahead of Friday’s clash against the Lone Stars of Liberia.

The training session took place at the Teslim Balogun Stadium, Lagos.

24 players took part in the training session which was supervised by head coach Gernot Rohr.

Osimhen and Iheanacho will look to continue their impressive partnership in training on Wednesday and the duo are expected to lead the team’s attack on Friday.

Goalkeepers Daniel Akpeyi and Francis Uzoho were the other top performers in the team’s training on Tuesday.

The Super Eagles will also take on the Blue Sharks of Cape Verde in a matchday two fixture next week Tuesday.
