Oyo State Deputy Governor, Rauf Olaniyan has been impeached by the state house of assembly members.
Olaniyan was impeached on Monday, July 18, by a two-thirds majority of assembly members.
His impeachment followed the adoption of the recommendations of the report of a seven-man panel set up to investigate allegations leveled against him by the Chief Judge of the state.
The Panel report was read by the Majority Leader of the House, Hon Sanjo Adedoyin.
