Pele will be buried at the Memorial Necrópole Ecumênica today, (Tuesday), January 3.

The Memorial Necrópole Ecumênica is the world’s tallest cemetery.

It is 32 stories high and occupies a total of 1.8 hectares of land. It contains about 16,000 graves.

It is located in Santos, in the state of São Paulo, its construction began in 1983, and the first burial was on 28 July 1984.

It received the Guinness World Records title for the tallest cemetery in the world.
