Why I can’t date, marry Saga — Liquorose

Former Big Brother Naija housemate, Liquorose, has put an end to ongoing speculation surrounding her relationship with fellow ex-housemate, Saga, stating firmly that a romantic involvement has never been on the table.

Speaking at an event, Liquorose clarified that Saga is more of a brother and confidant than a potential lover.

“People ask me why I don’t date Saga, and I’m like, have you seen us? That’s my gossip partner!” she said. “Once I leave here, I’m texting Saga and we’re going to laugh about this.”

She further explained that their bond has evolved into a strong friendship that excludes any romantic prospects.

“I can’t date Saga. I can’t marry Saga. Not because he’s not attractive, but because we’ve gone beyond that. Saga is a very special person to me—he’s a friend, a brother, my partner in crime, 100%.”

Liquorose and Saga sparked dating rumours following the release of several short skits titled Couple Chronics, where the two played the roles of a couple. Their bond in the videos has fueled assumptions from fans that the chemistry extended beyond the screen.
