Yomi Fabiyi releases new movie ‘Oko Iyabo’

Yomi Fabiyi has released a new movie ‘Oko Iyabo’ (Iyabo’s husband) x-raying the travails of embattled Nollywood star, Olanrewaju James, popularly known as Baba Ijesha.

Recall that Fabiyi and Iyabo Ojo’s relationship became sour following Baba Ijesha rape saga. The saga caused a rift between the Nollywood stars who took to Instagram threatening and insulting each other.
Baba Ijesha is being tried on a six-count charge which includes sexual assault by penetration, indecent treatment of a child, and sexual assault.
But he was earlier granted bail with his trial scheduled to begin on July 26
While the likes of Iyabo Ojo and other celebrities demanded justice and condemned the act, Fabiyi called for patience, warning actors to stop passing judgement on the accused until he is proven guilty in court.
The movie which has been released on YouTube, features several Yoruba movie stars including Lateef Adedimeji, Adewale Elesho, Lola Idije, Hassan Ogogo, Adewale Elesho, Toyin Afolayan, Baba Olafaina, Akeem Alimi and many others
The film opens with a scene where a child actor, who plays Iyabo, tells her classmate that she hopes to become a prostitute when she grows up.
Fabiyi also depicts the disturbing CCTV video in a scene in the movie but portrays Baba Ijesha’s underage victim as his consenting lover.
