8 achievements of Folake Abdulrazaq before becoming Kwara first lady

Folake Abdulrazaq became the first lady of Kwara state after her husband, Governor Abdulrazaq Abdulrahman was sworn-in on May 29, 2019.

Unknown to many, Folake has achieved commendable feats long before her incursion into governance.

Not many knew that Folake is a diplomat that has distinguished herself as a brainy yet beautiful Nigerian.


Meet the first lady of Kwara State, Mrs. Olufolake Abdulrahman

Mrs. Olufolake has a rich pedigree and hails from a prominent Lagos family, Davies. Her father is late Hezekiah Olufela Davies, the trained journalist, a writer with published books to his credit. 

1. She is the Minister/Head of Consular, Education, and Welfare, Nigeria High Commission in London. 

2. She was the Minister/Deputy Head Industry, Trade, and Investment, Nigeria High Commission London in 2015.

3. She was the Minister/Deputy Head Immigration and Deputy Director/Minister Commonwealth at the Nigeria High Commission London. 

4. She was once held the position of the Assistant Director, Ministry of Foreign Affairs Abuja Nigeria, 

5. She was once an Assistant Director, Embassy of Nigeria Paris and Minister Counsellor, Ministry of Foreign Affairs Nigeria.
