St. Ives WIMBIZ set tone for conversations on health, wellness

Friday, February 21, 2025 will go down in the memories of those who attended the WIMBIZ February 2025 Lagos Roundtable as both epochal and definitive in the area of health and wellness.

The highlight of the event was the presentation by Dr. Babatunde Okewale, Chairman and Chief Medical Director, St. Ives Specialist Hospital.

Other members of the panel who spoke include Dr. Osazuwa Ede-Edokpolor, Medical Director, St. Ives Specialist Hospital, Olayinka Opaleye, Chief Wellness Officer, Calme PurWellness and Chidinma Chigbo, General Manager, Business Development Strategy & Brand, Clearline HMO.

The well publicized event had a massive turnout of participants that cut across various age grades and social status, with the participants actively engaging in discussions ranging from mental well-being, reproductive health and holistic self-care strategies.

As the official partner and sponsor of the event, St. Ives Specialist Hospital played a major role, offering free medical services on-site, which many attendees took advantage of.

The hospital also handed out gift packs to the attendees which further had excitement to the event.

According to some of the participants, the insightful discussions and hands-on experience shared by the speakers and some of the attendees has left them feeling empowered with the requisite knowledge and practical steps to enhance their emotional and reproductive well-being.
