COVID-19: Atiku’s son tests positive 23 days after first case in Nigeria
Abubakar Atiku has informed the world that one of his sons has tested positive to COVID-19. The revelation is coming 23 days after the first case of coronavirus was recorded in Nigeria.
The 2019 presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party made the announcement on the microblogging platform, Twitter on Sunday evening, March 22.
“My son has tested positive for coronavirus,” he tweeted.

The ex-Vice-President of Nigeria further said his son has been moved to Gwagwalada Specialist Teaching Hospital in Abuja for treatment.
“The @NCDCGov (Nigeria Centre for Disease Control) has been duly informed, and he has been moved to Gwagwalada Specialist Teaching Hospital in Abuja for treatment and management. I will appreciate it if you have him in your prayers. Stay safe, coronavirus is real,” he added.
