Davido showers wife, Chioma with praises on wedding day in Miami

Afrobeats superstar David Adeleke popularly known as Davido has poured his heart out in an emotional vow to his wife, Chioma Adeleke, during their white wedding ceremony in Miami.

The singer’s words painted a picture of a love that has weathered storms and emerged stronger.
He spoke of Chioma’s quiet entrance into his life, which then blossomed into a beautiful, vibrant presence.

“This is the most nervous I’ve ever been. You are my love, my peace. You walked into my life quietly and became the loudest and most beautiful part of it. God sent you to show me what unconditional love feels. We’ve known love only people can dream of, and pain only we can understand, and we are still here. I promise to protect you,” Davido said.

The joyous occasion marks the third ceremony for the couple, having previously exchanged vows in a private court ceremony in March 2023 and a grand traditional wedding in Lagos in June 2024.

Allnewsng reports that the Miami festivities reportedly cost an astonishing $3.7 million, solidifying the event’s status as one of the most extravagant celebrity weddings of the year.

Davido and Chioma’s wedding celebration drew A-list guests, including prominent Nigerian celebrities, influential business leaders like Aliko Dangote, Obi Cubana, and high-ranking politicians such as Governor Ademola Adeleke.
Their pre-wedding bash, themed “Havana Night,” was a star-studded affair featuring performances by notable music acts like Zlatan, Adekunle Gold and B-Red.
