Don Jazzy’s ex-Wife Michelle Jackson recounts first day in Lagos

Michelle Jackson, Don Jazzy’s ex-wife, has recalled the terrible experience she had the first day she got to Lagos State.

The model cum writer, visited Nigeria for the first time after her marriage to the Mavin record boss crashed 19 years ago.

She narrated the experience she had, from traffic gridlock to commuters struggling for right of way which left her shocked.

She revealed that she knows her visit to Nigeria would touch her in many ways. She added that the nightlife is a buzz and a whole vibe.

Reliving her experience, she stated how a gentleman almost knocked a policeman off the road.

According to her, the policemen were not supposed to stay at that particular check point at the time they got there. They tried to stop a gentleman who was in his car, but he didn’t stop and drove off almost knocking the policeman off the road.

The police then moved to the car she was in and knocked at their window, they had to leave when they sighted a police escort in their car.

She revealed that the system in Nigeria is so different from what she is used to. “Nigeria is a whole vibe. It’s so different from what I am used to. Nigeria is such a beautiful country, the people and all, but I witnessed something today that I will never want to witness again. I was scared. What would have happened if we weren’t travelling with our security? What would that look like? She lamented.
