Femi And Made Kuti to stage joint concert in June

The duo of Femi and Made Kuti, have teamed up for their first joint show tagged, “Father and Son: The Experience.”

Funke Kuti, the Chief Executive Officer of FK Management, the company behind the show, announced the collaboration in Lagos on Saturday.

She stated that the event is in response to fans of both singers, who have been calling for a joint concert between them.

“It has become a usual feature in recent times to see a feature of Made on Femi Kuti’s set, while the latter is on tour and Femi has also featured in all Made’s concert in and outside the new Afika shrine.

“The concert will be their first headline show since their joint Grammy nominations.

“A show that seek to bring to the home of Afrobeat the old and newly converted follower of Afrobeat.

The concert is scheduled to take part at Afrika Shrine on June 5.

Femi Kuti is the son of music legend, Fela Anikulapo Kuti, while Made Kuti is the grandson of the legendary music icon and Femi Kuti’s son.
