FULL LIST: Trump to reexamine green cards issued to people from 19 countries ‘of concern’

The director of the United States Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) said on Thursday that, acting on President Donald Trump’s directive, he has ordered a review of all green cards issued to individuals from countries described as “of concern.”

When pressed for clarification on which nations fall under the “of concern” category, USCIS referred CNN to the 19 countries identified in a June presidential proclamation.

Trump moved swiftly last night to cite the shooting of two National Guard members in Washington, DC, as justification for tightening immigration measures.

The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) told CNN today that it is reviewing all asylum cases approved during the Biden administration.

According to officials, the suspect in the shooting entered the United States in 2021 under Operation Allies Welcome after assisting the US in Afghanistan, and he was granted asylum last April.

A US official told CNN the suspect was “clean on all checks” before working with the government and again before entering the country.
