The Nigeria Police Force (NPF) has arrested the Special Assistant to Governor Udom Emmanuel of Akwa Ibom State and Nollywood actor, Moses Armstrong.

The Akwa Ibom State Police arrested Armstrong for allegedly raping a 16-year-old girl.

It was further alleged that Armstrong’s case is being handled by the Akwa Ibom First Lady, Martha Udom Emmanuel through her Family Empowerment and Youth Re-Orientation Path Initiative.

Until his arrest, Armstrong was a Special Assistant to the Akwa Ibom State Governor, Udom Emmanuel.

Armstrong lost his wife and colleague, Rita, to an auto crash in 2018. According to reports, the late Rita died from spinal cord injuries sustained from the accident.
