Imo State to host 2022 BON Awards

Governor Hope Uzodinma is set to host the 13th edition of the Best of Nollywood (BON) Awards, in Owerri, Imo State.

Governor Uzodinma accepted to host the movie awards after a visit by the organising team led by the awards ceremony founder, Seun Oloketuyi.

Uzodinma promised the stars, guests, and other industry professionals a show like no other.

The event, according to Oloketuyi, is billed to hold on Saturday, December 3, 2022 in Imo State.

As part of the activities leading up to the yearly traveling, film industry awards, the organisers have also announced plans to specially recognise individuals and organisations that have contributed immensely to the growth of Nollywood.

“It is a honour to have His Excellency Senator Uzodinma accept to host the traveling award, BON Awards. We would be unveiling details as soon as possible. The governor is in high spirit and can’t wait to have Nigerian celebrities – most especially film stars – in Imo state.”
