Nollywood actors commences work on late Dejo Tunfulu’s unfinished project

An abandoned housing project owned by late actor Adekunle Adetokunbo, also known as Dejo Tunfulu, who passed away on April 1, 2022, has commenced work, thanks to some of his friends who decided to complete it.

The project is now under the supervision of Olaide Olabanji, a movie producer and a very close friend of Adetokunbo.  Only the foundation of the project had been dug by the time Adetokunbo died three weeks ago after a brief illness.  After he was laid to rest, some of his friends in the movie industry promised to help his family complete the project.

With assistance from other Nollywood practitioners, Olabanji was able to raise some funds. The money realised from the fundraising campaign was spent on the project.

Adetokunbo’s friends have been supervising the project since it started. All the while Olabanji has been updating fans of the late actor and his colleagues on the progress of the project. Video of the work in progress is often uploaded on his social media handle.

The friends of the deceased have also called on their colleagues in the movie industry to come to the aid of the late comic actor’s family so that they can complete the legacies he left behind within one year.

Nigeria’s entertainment industry was thrown into mourning on April 1, 2022 when the news of the untimely death of the actor was announced.

The actor died while receiving treatment at the Ikorodu General Hospital. It was gathered that he was previously diagnosed with chronic kidney disease before he became critically ill and eventually passed on.
