Olubadan of Ibadan dies at 93

The Olubadan of Ibadanland, Oba Saliu Adetunji, is dead.

Sources familiar with the development said the 93-year-old monarch, died in the early hours of Sunday at the University College Hospital (UCH), Ibadan.

His death was also confirmed by the Ekarun Olubadan, High Chief Amidu Ajibade.

Born on August 26, 1928, Oba Saliu Adetunji, was crowned the 41st Olubadan on March 4, 2016

He was the first of 17 children of his parent.
