Nigerian singer Deborah Oluwaseyi Joshua, professionallyknown as Seyi Shay, has welcomed her first baby, a bouncing baby girl.

The singer announced the birth of her baby girl in a post on Instagram on Friday.

“The Eagle has landed”, she wrote.

Her baby arrived after the talented singer revealed the identity of the gender during a baby shower organised recently.

The news of her pregnancy came in February this year after she announced that she was engaged.

She announced her engagement during an interview, though she kept mute on the identity of her lover.

She also spoke about the diamond ring on her finger, she said “some guy gave it to me and said ‘would you marry me?’ It’s really a diamond. Diamonds are forever.
