Trans-Sahel Airlines chairman Ude dies from COVID-19 complications
Trans-Sahel airlines chairman, Alhaji Abdulazeez Chivuzo Ude, is dead.
The Enugu State-born billionaire and staunch Muslim reportedly died on Thursday, September 16, 2021, from Covid-19 complications.
Born September 30, 1940, Abdulazeez Ude was educated at the College of Immaculate Conception (CIC), Enugu. He also studied at Howard University, United States of America, and Oxford University, U.K.
He was a top editor with the renowned American book publishing company Doubleday, publishers of Anchor Books.
Late Abdulazeez Ude founded Nok Publishers in the United States and Nigeria. He was also a director of Newswatch Magazine.
He was very active in the social circuit in his time. Indeed, late highlife musician Oliver de Coque waxed an album in praise of the many achievements of Abdulazeez Ude.
Some of his companies included Tanhigh Holdings Ltd, Tanhigh Finance Ltd, 150 Estates Nigeria Ltd, Trans-Sahel Airlines Ltd among many others.
He was married with children.
