Wizkid’s son, Tife, drops debut EP

Afrobeat star Wizkid’s first son, Boluwatife Ayodeji Balogun, popularly known as Tife Balogun, has officially released his debut extended play (EP) titled Champion’s Arrival.

In a video posted on his Instagram page on Tuesday, the 14-year-old announced, “The Champion has arrived. My debut EP ‘Champion’s Arrival’ is out now on all platforms.”

The five-track project — Champion Montana, Grind, Superstar, Champion Sound, and Champiano — is available on major streaming platforms.

It was earlier reported on October 28 that Tife, Wizkid’s first son with his former partner, Shola Ogudu, teased the project by sharing a short video on Instagram with the caption: “Champion’s Arrival. Videographer: DIKASTUDIOS. Producer: iamhosana.”

In the teaser, the young artiste who goes by the stage name Champz delivered bold and confident lines that caught attention, saying, “Shoutout to the OGs in the game, but it’s time to pass on the baton,” and “I’ve got zero competition.”

Tife’s mother, Shola, also celebrated her son’s achievement, commenting, “Super proud of you SON!!!! We give God all the glory,” while linking the EP in her Instagram bio.
