Popular Nollywood actor, John Adewunmi, aka Tafa Oloyede is dead.

The actor reportedly died in the early hours of Tuesday, February 1, 2022. His death was announced by his family some hours back.

Though the cause of his death is yet to be ascertained, he passed away at the age of 69. He died at his residence at Arowomole, Kajola area of Osogboin Osun State.

The actor, who hails from Ede in Osun State, began his career as an actor in the Yoruba film industry in 1974.

He had his tutelage under the late Oyin Adejobi and featured in several movies which include: ‘Jaiyesimi’, ‘Ayanmo’, ‘Ekuro Oloja’, ‘Orogun Adedigba’, ‘Akanji Oniposi’, ‘Kuye’ among others.

He is survived by his wife and children.
