COVID-19: Abba Kyari, 3 staff test positive 26 days after first case

Abba Kyari, the Chief of Staff to President Muhammadu Buhari, and three of his staff have tested positive to coronavirus 26 days after the first case was recorded in Nigeria.

Already, there is alleged palpable fear at the State House following the official confirmation of the development.

According to a report by Vanguard, the development witnessed the absence of some members of staff in the state house not showing up for work.

Meanwhile, President Buhari has tested negative to the virus.

The report further said all the aides at the Vice President’s wing of the Villa, except his media aide, did not turn up for work.

A source said Vice President Yemi Osinbajo reported late to work on Monday afternoon unlike him.

Most of the aides of the VP, who were at work, had face masks and hand gloves on when they came to work on Monday, March 23.
