I’m not signed to any record label – Portable

Fast-rising Nigerian singer, Habeeb Okikiola, better known as Portable, has stated that he is not signed into any record label as claimed in some quarters.

Portable came into the limelight with his hit track ‘Zazoo Zeh’ featuring Olamide, the rapper, and Poco Lee, the dancer.

Rumours recently swirled that the singer was signed into a record label.

However, reacting in a video uploaded on his Instagram account, the singer refuted the claim and declared that “I don’t have a boss”.

He also slammed some persons in the music industry, who according to him, have money but failed to help others with it.

“I’m not concerned about what they are saying online. Nobody signed me, I don’t have a boss, only God is the boss. What’s the point of having money and not being able to spend it? If you have money, help with it,” he said.

Portable has been involved in a series of controversies since he became popular.
