Oko Oloyun shot dead in Oyo state

Oko Oloyun, a top Yoruba alternative medicine practitioner has been shot dead.

The alternative medicine practitioner, who was born Fatai Yusuf, was reportedly shot dead on the Eruwa-Igboora road in the Ibarapa Central area of Oyo state on Thursday, January 23, 2020.

While the details of the death of Oko Oloyun are still sketchy, unconfirmed reports maintained he was gunned down when his vehicle was attacked at around 4 pm.

The spokesman of the Oyo police command, Gbenga Fadeyi, confirmed Oko Olyun’s death.

According to Fadeyi, Yusuf’s corpse was deposited at the mortuary of Igbo-Ora General Hospital.

Fadeyi said, “Gunmen attacked his vehicle on the Eruwa-Igboora Road in Ibarapa Central; they shot at his vehicle and he was hit by a bullet.

“The man’s corpse has been deposited in the Igbo-Ora General Hospital.

Yusuf is one of the most popular alternative medicine company owners, whose popular products include Fijk Flusher.

In the last 18 months, Oko Olyun had decided to enlarge his scope of business by opening his company up for public investors.
