Tinubu opens up on 2023 presidential election
National Leader of the All Progressives Congress, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, has opened up on his views on 2023.
In a recent chat with newsmen in Abuja on Tuesday, January 7, Tinubu says it’s too early to talk about 2023 presidential election or zoning.
“It will be mere restlessness to talk about it now”, he began while adding that “This is not the time.”

Reacting to Pastor Tunde Bakare’s call on President Muhammadu Buhari to pick his successor before 2023, Tinubu said any talks about succession plans, for now, should be discarded.
The former Governor of Lagos State made this known while speaking with State House Correspondents after he visited the President Buhari for a brief meeting.
Tinubu explained that the APC’s government just got a second term and that the attention should be focused on good governance for now.
Recently, Chief Bode George has hinted his readiness to contest for the seat of Nigerian president should Tinubu decide to run for the same seat.
