The Permanent Chairman of the Southern Nigeria Traditional Rulers Council (SNTRC), Arole Oodua Olofin Adimula and the Natural Head of the Oduduwa race worldwide, the Ooni of Ife, Ooni Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi, CFR, Ojaja II, has congratulated President Bola Ahmed Tinubu on the occasion of his 74th birthday, describing him as a courageous nation builder whose leadership continues to shape the future of Nigeria.

In a statement issued on Tuesday by the Director of Media and Public Affairs, Ooni’s Palace, Otunba Moses Olafare, the Ooni who is also the Co-Chairman of the National Council of Traditional Rulers of Nigeria (NCTRN) commended the President for his resilience, boldness, and unwavering commitment to the unity and progress of the country.

The Ooni noted that President Tinubu’s decades-long political journey reflects a legacy of sacrifice, strategic leadership, and steadfast dedication to democratic ideals, which have played a pivotal role in strengthening Nigeria’s political landscape.

Ooni Ogunwusi further praised the President’s courage in implementing critical reforms aimed at repositioning the nation’s economy, noting that such decisions, though challenging, are necessary for long-term national growth and stability.

Describing him as a visionary leader and bridge-builder, the Ooni said Tinubu has consistently demonstrated the capacity to inspire confidence and hope among Nigerians, even in the face of daunting national challenges.

The revered monarch also offered prayers for the President, asking God to grant him continued wisdom, strength, and good health as he steers the affairs of the nation.

“On behalf of the House of Oduduwa and the entire Yoruba race, I celebrate His Excellency on this remarkable milestone. May Almighty God continue to guide and strengthen him in his service to our great nation,” the statement read.
